The season
From 20 May to 20 September.
Late May
The camp opens on 20 May. The water is still cool, and the first good fish are in the shallows.
June
The midnight sun: evenings of fishing that barely end. Trout and grayling open on the rivers on 15 June.
July
The heart of the season, with ideal weather through to the end of August. Topwater strikes.
August
Autumn colours arrive. From mid-August, once the water drops below 14 °C, the pike go into a feeding frenzy.
September
Water around 10 °C and the big pike at their most active. The season closes on 20 September.
Pike: all season, catch and release only. River trout and grayling: 15 June to 25 August.

On half board, dinner is served at 8 pm at the camp and you take a packed lunch out for the day, to enjoy on the lakeshore. Local recipes and seasonal produce: elk, reindeer, berries…
